What is LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy?
Therapy in which a therapist needs to be aware of the stigma associated with non-heterosexual and non-cis-gendered clients, to value these forms of expression as normal and even spiritual variants of sexual and gender expression and to refute any effort to make such expressions into mental illness.
